01/05/06 Villa continue their fall from grace, thanks to O'Limerick. But after the Liverpool game I swapped coaches and went from the one coming home to the one going to Blackpool, as with Small Heath going down, Redditch staying up, and the sunny weather of the day (probably a lot of beers as well) Saturday was a great day to celebrate. I borrowed a clean shirt on the bus, I arranged to sleep on the floor of the B& B and I was off. What a night. Its great that no matter what that Irish prick tries to do with this club, Me, my mates and all genuine Villa fans will be around long after he has gone. Shit On The City. 26/04/06 Way to go O'Leary you stupid arsehole. Man City played 6 won 0 drew 0 lost 6, come to Villa, you play, at home, with five at the back and they beat us with a goal from a striker that the Irish muppet let go. You are NOT in it for the long haul, you are in it for the MONEY. I wish you would die. 08/04/06 Popped down Redditch this afternoon. I fear we may be getting relegated, we had 80% of the play (really) numerous chances to score, and only after 89 minutes did we bury it in the top corner. It was like winning the league. What happens, they get a free-kick out by the corner flag, and scramble in a headed goal. With luck like this Redditch have little chance of staying up. |

I have been going down the Villa for over 25 years, been to many many away games, and followed the Villa through much of Europe as well. Usually with the same bunch of lads from Redditch (as well as Alcester, Studley and Bromsgrove), sometimes officially and sometimes off our own backs (much to John Hood's annoyance (remember him)).We are a lovely bunch of blokes, all Villa through and through, all with different views on the Villa, politics, women and beer. Your usual variety there then. A big clue may be where I sit in the Upper Holte, the AVFC - Redditch flag that can be seen there when I can be bothered to carry it around the pubs before hand.
